DEUTERONOMY 6:5-7 "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commands that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children."
LUKE 2:22 "And when the time came for their purification according to the Law of Moses, they brought him (Jesus) up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord."
What’s the difference between dedication and baptism?
Baptism celebrates the outward declaration of an inward decision an individual has made to say "yes" to Jesus and His redemptive and restorative work in our lives. Child Dedication celebrates the anticipatory faith of parents for their child to one day say yes to Jesus, and their commitment to shepherd them toward that decision in the coming years.
Our next Child Dedication Service will be on January 31, 2021 at 10am. The dedication ceremony will take place immediately after the sermon. Parents and child(ren) will be called up. There will be an opportunity for photos with extended family, immediately after the service. If you plan on participating, please register below.
