Corky and Pam Schroeder will be traveling to Hope Mountain, Philippines for three weeks in February / March 2025. They will be leaving on February 17th, and will be participating in a medical mission, a feeding program and working on the new transitional home. Donations of medical items (vitamins, used glasses, toothbrushes and toothpaste) and miscellaneous items (small toys and candies for children) are needed. Please drop off your donations (January 5 - February 9, 2025) on Sundays at Next Steps or the church office (Tuesday - Friday, 9 am - 2 pm). Hope Coffee Ministries is hosting a bible study for women titled By Faith. This is a 6-week study starting on Thursday, January 9th, at 9 am at Hope Coffee. This study takes an in-depth look at the book of Galatians which shows us that faith in Jesus Christ is enough, explores what it means to live a life of freedom by faith in Jesus Christ, and challenges us to live differently in response to what God has done in us. The Global Outreach Team is putting together a group to cook dinner once a month at the “D” Street Homeless Shelter (Merced) on February 13, 2025, from 5 pm to 7 pm. Will you consider volunteering? Calling all men! Join us for breakfast and a time of fellowship and learning as we dive into a series of teachings on what a biblical man looks like on Saturday, March 8th, at 8 am to 9:30 am in the Fireside Room. Our society and churches are longing for men to step into their God-given roles and lead their families and be strong leaders in their communities, and churches. We will be exploring what this looks like for us today by examining what the Word of God says about it.

We are excited to host Hope Wellness & Fitness at The Hope. Exercise, Nutrition, Mindfulness, and Self-care are essential for our Temple (Body) in walking like Jesus. Mila Hoban-Munden leads our Wellness classes which take place every week from Monday through Thursday from 5 pm - 6 pm in the Hope Kids Room. Please bring a friend, your water bottle and towel.
