Night of Vision - The Hope's Annual Business Meeting l January 30, 2026

Make plans to join us for our Night of Vision, The Hope’s annual business meeting, on Friday, January 30th, at 6 pm here in the sanctuary. This event is more than a business meeting, it will be a time to celebrate what God did in our midst in 2025, anticipate what God is going to do in 2026, and plan accordingly. We are asking that at least one person from each family that calls our church home, attend the Night of Vision so that together as a community we can follow where the Lord is leading.

Hope Kids will provide childcare for ages toddler-5th grade. Please RSVP to Amy at 209-756-4947 with children's names and ages by Tuesday, Jan 27th, to secure a spot. Check-in will begin at 5:45pm in the Fireside Room.

To pick up your copy of the 2025 Impact Report, please see Janet in the church office (Tuesday - Friday from 9 am to 2 pm) or in the lobby on Sunday, January 25th.

Fill the baby bottle with coins, cash, or a check.  Pick up a baby bottle (or two) in the lobby at The Hope starting Sunday, January 18th, through Sunday, February 8th, or the church office Tuesday through Friday from 9 am to 2 pm. Return your baby bottle(s) on any Sunday (no later than February 15th) either at the church lobby or at the church office (Tuesday–Friday). Medical Mission Trip - Philippians - February 2026

The Global Outreach (GO) Team at The Hope is excited to share that we will be embarking on a medical mission trip to Hope Mountain, Philippines, in February 2026. This two-week mission will focus on providing essential medical care, compassionate support, and the hope of Jesus to the communities we serve. We invite you to join us in praying for our team, the preparations ahead, and the many lives that will be touched through this mission. For questions, contact Corky Schroeder at 209.658.6339 or email at schroedercorky@gmail.com; or Pam Schroeder at 209.658.4829.

Susan has years of experience and enjoys sharing God's word and His beautiful creation. Stay tuned for more adventures. Contact Susan at neucrew2@gmail.com or 209-262-8457 for questions.

Please RSVP by Monday, January 26th for the following hike:

On Saturday, January 31st, there will be a dog friendly hike. This will be a moderate hike with challenging elevation gains, featuring a lot of uphill terrain. The location will be the east shore of Del Valle Lake. Please read the descriptions and study the route to make sure that you are physically able to complete the hike before committing. We are the planners, but not guides and we often hike at a brisk pace and can wait at sections for others to catch up; however, there are time constraints, and we want to keep that in consideration.

Here is a link to the AllTrails description for the MODERATE/CHALLENGING hike: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/east-shore-loop-to-lake-del-valle?u=i&sh=5rcnco

And another description from Tri Valley: https://visittrivalley.com/blog/hiking-east-shore-loop-at-del-valle-regional-park/

There is another hike described as easy, in which a group could leave from the same parking lot by modifying the start point. Would anyone or a pair be interested in leading this easier hike?  You don't need to have the app to read this description, but you should either print out the map or subscribe to AllTrails before setting out. I could help with this and the modification for beginning at the same parking lot as those completing the harder hike.

Here is the description of the EASY trail:
