May's adventure is Nevada Falls via The Mist Trail, Yosemite on Wednesday, May 27th!
This hike is hard / strenuous, the trail is steep, rocky and wet (2900 ft. elevation) with a distance of 8.5 miles from the parking lot. Estimated time of completion is 5 - 6 hours. If you have not done this hike before, please read the descriptions at the links below and confirm that you are in physical condition to participate. Please understand the risks inherent in any outdoor activity in the wilderness and be prepared to mitigate them on your own behalf. The Hope International Waiver and Release of Liability will need to be completed before participating in these outdoor activities.

Join us for the College & Young Adult Bible Study (ages 18 yrs to 26 yrs) on Thursday, May 7th and May 21st,for a time of food, fellowship, worship, and interactive learning as we explore understanding the Bible and our faith, learn to become disciples who bear fruit and advance the kingdom of God in the world around us and daily life skills. Ladies, join us at 9 am in the Fellowship Hall for "Path to Purpose", a study on the book of Ecclesiastes starting July 2nd. The book of Ecclesiastes reveals the despair and dissatisfaction that comes from a life apart from God and seeking after empty pursuits. Throughout this study, you will learn the answers to common questions many ask today such as, “What is my purpose on earth?” and “What is the purpose of life?” Through Solomon’s teachings, you will receive wisdom from his quest for meaning and satisfaction and see how the path to purpose is found in Jesus Christ. We are excited to host Hope Wellness & Fitness at The Hope. Exercise, Nutrition, Mindfulness, and Self-care are essential for our Temple (Body) in walking like Jesus. Mila Hoban-Munden leads our Wellness classes which take place every week from Monday through Thursday from 5 pm - 6 pm in the Hope Kids Room. Please bring a friend, your water bottle and towel.
