Kayaking at Elkhorn Slough with the Monterey Bay Kayaks Company. The rental rates vary from $45 to $85 per person. If you are not confident in your kayaking abilities, there is an orientation that covers safety and precautions, please call and arrange to join a group guided tour ahead of time. Hope Coffee is hosting "Rooted In Him", a verse-by-verse study through the book of Colossians. This study is all about Jesus—who He is, how to follow in His ways, and how true joy, peace, and contentment are found in Him alone. Together, we’ll learn what it means to be rooted in Christ and to build a life that reflects His glory. Whether you’ve been studying the Bible for years or are opening God’s Word for the very first time, this study will encourage your heart and point you to Jesus, the One who satisfies our souls. Calling all men. Join us for breakfast and a time of fellowship and learning as we dive into a series of teachings on what a biblical man looks like on Saturday, November 8th, at 8 am to 9:30 am in the Fireside Room. Our society and churches are longing for men to step into their God-given roles and lead their families and be strong leaders in their communities, and churches. We will be exploring what this looks like for us today by examining what the Word of God says about it.

Do you desire to take the next step in your walk with the Lord? If you are in a place where you want to grow and deepen your relationship with God and others, join the 2:7 Group for a 11-week discipleship class launching on Wednesday, September 17th, at 7 pm in the Fireside Room led by Chris Ballesteros. We will be going through a study that helps us lay a firm foundation for our faith. We will discuss topics such as: How to read your Bible and what to mark. The Hope's Global Outreach Team will be cooking dinner at the D Street Homeless Shelter (Merced) will be on Tuesday, December 30th, at 5 pm – 7 pm. Menu for the dinner will be BBQ Pork Sliders. We are excited to host Hope Wellness & Fitness at The Hope. Exercise, Nutrition, Mindfulness, and Self-care are essential for our Temple (Body) in walking like Jesus. Mila Hoban-Munden leads our Wellness classes which take place every week from Monday through Thursday from 5 pm - 6 pm in the Hope Kids Room. Please bring a friend, your water bottle and towel. We are asking for canned goods and non-perishable foods to be dropped off at Hope Coffee to help feed low-income families in Merced County.
