Ladies, join us at 9 am in the Fellowship Hall for "Path to Purpose", a study on the book of Ecclesiastes starting July 2nd. The book of Ecclesiastes reveals the despair and dissatisfaction that comes from a life apart from God and seeking after empty pursuits. Throughout this study, you will learn the answers to common questions many ask today such as, “What is my purpose on earth?” and “What is the purpose of life?” Through Solomon’s teachings, you will receive wisdom from his quest for meaning and satisfaction and see how the path to purpose is found in Jesus Christ. Please contact Janet at office@thehope.live to purchase the study or if you have questions. Or, at the Next Steps counter in the Lobby on Sunday.
Join us for the College & Young Adult Bible Study (ages 18 yrs to 26 yrs) on Thursday, July 2nd, and July 16th, for a time of food, fellowship, worship, and interactive learning as we explore understanding the Bible and our faith, learn to become disciples who bear fruit and advance the kingdom of God in the world around us and daily life skills. Calling all men! Join us for breakfast and a time of fellowship and learning as we dive into a series of teachings on what a biblical man looks like on Saturday, July 11th, at 8 am to 9:30 am in the Fireside Room. Our society and churches are longing for men to step into their God-given roles and lead their families and be strong leaders in their communities, and churches. We will be exploring what this looks like for us today by examining what the Word of God says about it.
Join us for 2nd Sunday Prayer on Sunday, July 12th, from 5:30–6:30 p.m. in the Fireside Room. Together, we'll spend time seeking God's presence and lifting up our church, our community, our nation, and the needs of those around us through prayer. Whether you have a prayer request, a heart to pray for others, or simply want to grow in your prayer life, everyone is welcome. We hope you'll join us for this meaningful time together. For questions, contact Scott Speidel at 209.628.6521.
The Global Outreach Team is putting together a group to cook dinner once a month at the “D” Street Homeless Shelter (Merced) on Monday, July 27th, from 5 pm to 7 pm. Join us Sunday morning, July 5th, for our Family Sunday! We will gather together for worship at 9am and 11am, including children of all ages, as we encourage families to worship together, celebrate God's goodness, and grow in faith as one church family. On Sunday, August 30th, we will celebrate Baptism Sunday! If you have placed your trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior but have not yet been baptized, we invite you to take this important next step in your faith journey. Baptism is a public profession of an inward decision to follow Jesus. It's a powerful way to declare, "I belong to Christ!" and celebrate the new life He has given you. For over two thousand years, Christians have embraced baptism as an outward expression of their faith and commitment to Jesus. If the Holy Spirit is prompting you to take this step, please register here today. We can't wait to celebrate with you and your church family.
