We are a Community Following Jesus

We are a community following Jesus, seeking to learn the teachings of Jesus and the practices of the early church and apply them to the soil of our community (Atwater and surrounding areas). As 21st century disciples of Jesus, we seek the renewal of our city by restoring hope through the story of God and His redeeming power.

Mission and Core Values

Our mission is to love people, see them raised to life in Christ, and help them become his fully devoted followers.

As a church, our core values are to:

Life is Better Together

We gather to explore what it means to follow Jesus in our cultural context and moment. We gather on Sunday mornings in church and in homes during the week to practice the teachings of Jesus in community. We believe that it is in loving community that true transformation takes place.

We believe that following Jesus is more than just a Sunday gathering. Throughout the week we meet in homes in our community to grow in our love for God, one another, our neighbor and our city. This the primary way that we grow as disciples of Jesus, together and in our community.

Hope Kids

If you have children (newborn - 6th grade), we have a special place just for them on Sunday mornings where they can learn about Jesus at their level. We are passionate about developing life-long followers of Jesus! Click here for more information

We are a church for people of all ages, from the young of age to the young at heart. Our goal is to help each other follow Jesus by providing spaces for adults and children to grow in their knowledge of God's love for them.
